A mega free medical camp was organized by Prabhashiv Foundation during the holy Shravani Mela 2025 at Tarakeshwar, one of the most significant religious gatherings in the region. The camp was dedicated to serving the lakhs of devotees who undertook the sacred pilgrimage to offer prayers and perform Shiv Puja at the revered Tarakeshwar Temple.
Given the enormous influx of pilgrims walking long distances under strenuous weather conditions, the medical camp was strategically located along the pilgrimage route to ensure immediate accessibility to healthcare services. A team of experienced doctors, paramedical staff, and volunteers worked tirelessly to provide round-the-clock medical support to the devotees.
Thousands of pilgrims received free medical consultations for common ailments such as dehydration, fatigue, muscle cramps, fever, minor injuries, gastric discomfort, and blood pressure-related issues. The foundation also arranged for the free distribution of essential medicines, oral rehydration salts, bandages, and first-aid supplies, ensuring that devotees could continue their journey safely.
Emergency care and referral guidance were provided whenever required, preventing minor health issues from escalating into serious conditions. The camp played a pivotal role in maintaining the overall health and safety of the pilgrims throughout the mela period.
This humanitarian initiative once again reflected Prabhashiv Foundation’s unwavering commitment to community welfare, particularly during large spiritual congregations, by delivering compassionate, accessible, and timely healthcare services to those in need.
