A large-scale free medical camp was organized by Prabhashiv Foundation during the sacred Shravani Mela 2024 at Tarakeshwar, with the mission of serving lakhs of devotees who had arrived from different regions to perform Shiv Puja at the revered Tarakeshwar Temple.
Considering the massive footfall of pilgrims, the camp was strategically set up along the pilgrimage route to ensure easy access to immediate medical assistance. Thousands of devotees benefited from free health check-ups conducted by experienced doctors and trained healthcare personnel. Common ailments such as dehydration, fatigue, minor injuries, fever, gastric issues, and musculoskeletal pain were promptly attended to.
The foundation also ensured the free distribution of essential medicines, oral rehydration salts, pain relief ointments, and first-aid support, providing instant relief to the pilgrims during their long and strenuous journey. Emergency care and referral guidance were also offered whenever required.
This humanitarian initiative played a crucial role in safeguarding the health and well-being of the devotees and reflected Prabhashiv Foundation’s unwavering commitment to community service, especially during large religious congregations where healthcare access becomes critically important.
